Executive Administrative Assistant

The United Technologies Research Center (UTRC) invites interested and qualified individuals to apply for an Administrative Assistant position in the office of the VP, Research & UTRC Director. The main responsibilities will include the following:

Maintain calendar, coordinate and schedule meetings and secure appropriate facilities as required

Maintain confidential records and other sensitive information appropriately

Manage incoming requests to the VP, Research & UTRC Director received via email and telephone

Plan and arrange domestic and international travel

Assist in planning VIP visits and tours, including coordinating with catering, facilities, etc.

Process expense and mileage reports in a timely and accurate manner

Distribute mail and information requests and prepare documents

Process invoices and payments

Maintain and enhance filing processes

Support special projects as required.


The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of applicable administrative support experience. The candidate must also be a team player, have excellent communication and relationship building skills, be detail-oriented, be able to maintain a high level of professionalism, have excellent organizational skills and be able to work independently and prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects. Finally, the candidate will have a strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, Power point & Outlook).

This role requires a US Citizen.

Education: AA/AS degree. Technical Business School certification or Diploma, or other post high school training (two years in duration).
